I absolutely love Thirty-One Gifts! My consultant Jessica (from Sacramento, CA) is an amazing consultant and goes above and beyond to make her customers feel like family! I travel a lot and I am able to take my Away We Go Roller, ZipTop Utility Tote (with deluxe swap it pocket) and my Organizing Shoulder Bag for a 3-4 day trip and carry everything on the plane. I can't believe how organized I can be when traveling. I wish that the Away We Go roller was in the catalog to order as I receive so many compliments on it. My husband loves his Well Suited Garment Tote and it keeps his suit from wrinkling and fits perfectly on my Away We Go Roller for flying. Please keep up the amazing work and I look forward to doing more shopping and hosting a party with the upcoming fall catalog!!!

We also asked parents (including one mom of six) about what they loved or hated about their diaper bag (or diaper backpack). Some parents splurged, others got by with a free diaper bag from a hospital, and almost everyone shared the bag with a partner, nanny, or relative. We considered a wide range of parenting preferences and lifestyles. Multiple kids, cloth diapers, frequent travel, sharing with family members, stowing a bag under a stroller or shouldering it along with a baby carrier—it all affects what you need. For some parents, the look and style of the diaper bag may matter just as much as its form and function. https://i.pinimg.com/280x280_RS/57/49/e5/5749e511c242796c855f33346588c3e1.jpg

In case you’re wondering how large this bag feels, it is a near perfect size. It’s not so small that nothing fits, but it’s also not a large cavernous tote that gets weighed down and is heavy to carry. When I sling it on my shoulder, it hits my waist. The straps are a perfect length so the bag is not shoved up under your arm pit, but not so long the bag bangs on your hip when walking. Real life photo for you! https://i.pinimg.com/236x/64/20/59/64205947ac00ccad6f8af626db75c206.jpg
To figure out how big of a baby diaper bag you'll need, put some thought into how many things you'll want to be carrying around. It's not just for baby diapers and baby essentials (dont' forget nipple cream, lotions, baby sunscreen, and maybe even one of the smaller best breast pumps), but the baby bag will also be responsible for holding the contents of your purse unless you plan on carrying both the baby bag and your purse around all day (which we don't suggest!). So that means you'll want to make sure the baby diaper bag is big enough to hold all of the baby essentials along with things like your wallet, keys, lip balm, tissues, makeup, sunglasses, and anything else you carry around in your purse on a daily basis. Otherwise it's not really about finding the right diaper bags for moms, it becomes more about shoving in all the baby stuff and leaving mom's things behind!
We ultimately used the diaper bags in nearly 50 real-world settings in two states, including on airplanes, at the beach, at the mall, at Costco, at an amusement park (where birds landed on the diaper bags and pecked at them), and at the zoo, playgrounds, restaurants, a kids soccer game, museums, the doctor’s office, and the pool. Almost all the diaper bags traveled with us during a family vacation to Hawaii, where it was humid, sandy, occasionally rainy, and about 85 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit on most days. We hung the bags on our stroller—which indeed tipped over several times, though luckily not with the baby strapped inside it!—during long walks, and slung it over our shoulders or backs the rest of the time. In the majority of our outings, we changed the baby’s diaper to see how manageable it would be to set up the changing pad and reach the diapers and wipes. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/32/f6/7f/32f67f318016fbda5458f474df5c886a.jpg

There are elastic holders on one of the sides for two water bottles or baby bottles, plus lots of pockets to organize everything.  I really like that there is a thermal lined pocket on the inside of the tote for a sandwich or some cheese sticks.  It is big enough to hold lunch for one or snacks for 4.  It really makes this bag an all-in-one option so you do not need to take a lunch bag or cooler unless you need more than a snack or single lunch.  The middle compartment has a zipper closure that I keep my personal items in like my wallet.  I like that I can zip it up and know it is secure but then the compartments on either side are open for easy access to wipes, or toys that I may need to grab quickly.  https://i.pinimg.com/236x/8e/cf/03/8ecf034c96a5f620f31ea86fd147eacd.jpg

My kids are no longer babies nor am I expecting, but my plans were to use this bag as an everyday bag/purse. The bag is large, but not overdoing it. The style and shape are honestly perfect and does not reflect the appearance of a standard diaper bag - which is why I believe it makes it so much more appealing. You have a lot of pockets and organization space, a HUGE plus whether you're a mom or just a busy woman always on the go. The outside of the bag has 5 large pouch pockets and 1 cell phone pouch, which is a signature design of Thirty-One bags. The way it is styled, you have 2 pouches on one part of the bag, one pouch on each side (perfect for drinks, bottles, etc), and then a large snap pouch on the back of the bag. Above that is where cell phone pouch is located. So a lot of places for when you have to "grab and drop" things in the bag and don't have time to actually put them away.

You're told to bond with your baby, but not to fall asleep with them in the bed, and to let them rest in their bassinet. But when you're recovering from something that is (at best) the most physically demanding thing a person can do or (at worst) major surgery, moving your baby back and forth from bed to bassinette all night long sure doesn't sound like fun. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/b2/0c/bd/b20cbd24e66033a682b2e45d41f64144.jpg
Does anyone else plan on using or have used a thirty one bag as their diaper bag? If so which one and how has it worked out for you? I absolutely love the idea of being able to personalize my diaper bag with the name and colors! But I'm not sure exactly what size I'll need to buy or which would be a better bag. I have a few ideas in mind though, i'm deciding between the utility tote, cindy tote or the retro metro bag. they're all too adorable and so many ways to personalize which is the best part about them! Such a tough decision, so many options Also what is the most important thing you're looking for in a diaper bag? https://i.pinimg.com/236x/f3/d1/76/f3d17647a2f4f5a50268170726c27860.jpg?b
Want to babywear but still need to carry a diaper bag—is that even possible? Yes, it is. It’s also safe and can be comfortable when done right. You just need a front carry baby carrier and a backpack style diaper bag. Put your carrier on first, then put your baby inside the carrier and finally put your backpack diaper bag on. When your child is bigger and you switch to a back carry position, you can also wear a backpack diaper bag on your front. It may not look the best, but it can work if you need it to. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/59/2c/89/592c894e639595d47c7fcc145226ea9d.jpg
At the top of the bag, a discreet zippered pocket securely holds your smartphone and keys. Another, much larger zippered pocket that runs across the front of the bag can fit a book or e-reader, large wallet, and other miscellaneous items. Inside the main zippered compartment are two elastic pockets for diapers and wipes, along with two narrow, tiny pockets that could hold pens and pencils for you or an older child (but not much more). https://i.pinimg.com/236x/60/bb/2d/60bb2d02ca34c06a3e9e3ed1b712c6d1---gifts-thirty-one-gifts.jpg
The Duo, which has been sold since 2003, has been a longtime best-seller from a company that makes almost two dozen different diaper bags. Just about every retailer we visited—chains, boutiques, and consignment stores, plus online retailers—carried this bag. Parents can pick from a dozen neutral or bold, graphic prints, and on some colors the interior is made of a light-colored fabric so that you can easily see what’s inside (not all diaper bags have gotten the memo on this). https://i.pinimg.com/236x/85/48/96/8548966fd3c7652ac00da0d6b67d76a4--tbi-enabling.jpg
I spent entirely too much time looking for the perfect diaper bag. I narrowed it down to three and this one was 50% off so I got it! I’ve had it for 3 months with baby and I love it! Has a good amount of room that I can fit all my babe’s items (diapers, wipes, bottles, extra clothes, blanket, changing pad, a toy) along with my wallet, keys & phone. My husband likes that it’s black and doesn’t look like a diaper bag. The ONLY bad thing is I tend to pack heavy when we go on a day trip and when I ... read more Click to read full text of review titled "Perfect size for on the go".
